Preventing golf injuries

If you play continuous games back to back, you may want to consider an occasional massage or even a chiropractic alignment.
This common golf injury is more frequently referred to as golfer's elbow. Minor differences exist between tennis elbow and golfer's elbow. While both affect the upper arm, tennis elbow does so to the outer arm, while golfer's elbow does to the inner arm. While there is no specific way to avoid these injuries they are most often caused by suddenly playing more frequently. Tennis and golfer's elbow is likely to happen, for instance, to the person who is plays a long tournament when they are used to playing a solitary game a month.
An additional body part that is affected by common golf injury is the shoulders. As you can imagine, golfers put a tremendous amount of pressure on their shoulders every time they swing their clubs. Many times, these golfers are also in possession of tired or worn out bodies, and this causes injury easily. Because shoulders muscles are going to be in use frequently in the game, the best way to prevent injury to them is through warming them up but keeping your body in good shape is also helpful.

Because there are many golfers who like to play more than one game of golf in a row, if they do this over a monthly time period, they are likely to experience carpal tunnel syndrome. The results of the injury can be quite serious at times, but if you are careful and catch it early, typically just a brace will solve your problems. These individuals can lose the ability to use their hands and must have surgery to correct the problem. For many, carpal tunnel is a disease which causes serious signs of distress only after the injury has already progressed to a very dangerous state. In the event of serious wrist pain, you should make sure that you apply a wrist brace.
