Bobber – This is also called a cork or a float. The reason for having a bobber is so you'll know when your bait is taken by a fish the most common bobber  being the pencil, slip bobber and button. They come in different sizes to fit all kinds of baits and sinkers the best ones though are the that are smaller in size. The wind would push the bobber back to you if it were too light and would spook the fish if it were too large.

Swivels – This gear is utilized if your bait is a spinner or minnow. Baits like this will twist and turn a lot which would probably leave your line deformed but by using the swivel and attaching it twixt the line and bait it would allow the lure to move and keep the line from becoming tangled. Swivels are affordable and come in different sizes to work best with the bait and hooks you have.
